Count Cherokee high in with the combined SORBA chapter rides november 7th, incluing myself and my husband. Hope to meet high school age and under on this ride.

From the Woodstock Sorba site:

"The Woodstock Chapter along with the RAMBO & Gainesville Chapters will be joining SABA cycling club to ride the Jackrabbit Trail System on Saturday, November 7th. We will be meeting at Blankets Creek Parking Lot at 8am. The Jackrabbit Trail System is 100 miles away near Hiawassee, GA in North Carolina. We will carpool/convoy to the Jackrabbit Trailhead and be RTR at 10:30. The Jackrabbit Trail system is 15 miles of rolling contour trails. It will take approx 2 hours to ride. We will be grilling out for lunch afterward. More details to follow soon."

PJ, Blankets would be out of your way coming from the South. I'd think folks will be meeting at Big Creek too, which would be better for you. Per Al's map it's a little over 2 hours from there.

SORBA - can you give details on the cookout? Is SORBA buying or is it a BYO Bar-b-que?
