...K2K. Welcome back, welcome back.

I had the pleasure of riding with K2K at Chicopee last Saturday. As usual inappropriate comments were made, laughs were had, and beer was ingested. Nice to run into psychobilly and others in the parking lot for an impromptu bull session on a wide array of topics. What makes this notable is that this was K2K’s first ride after several months on the IR.

P.S. I’m soaking that shirt in vinegar.

Glad to hear you're back K2K. A litter bit of a highjack here but, with little ones learning to bike you should check out a run bike. Maybe the best way for a kid to learn to ride a 2 wheeler. I know a couple kids who stated riding a run bike at around age two or three and completely skipped training wheels. Specialized has one call the Hotwalk and there are others.

Cool, I'll look that up and see. We are putting her on a trail-a-bike for longer rides while I pull the 2 y.o. but owuld love to cut down the learning curve...

Or just take the pedals off and slam the seat down on what she's already riding.

Thanks Clem, that makes perfect sense. When I first heard runbike I envisioned myself having to run and stabalize her biking, when I looked them up it is just a bike with no drivetrain that you Flinstone around. Thats good cause running sucks.

Yes, taking the pedals off and lowering the seat works well. They learn to steer before learning to pedal, and it's much easier for kids to learn this way. Find a tot-sized hill that she can coast down, and she'll be all smiles. :-)
