Work is "highly encouraging" (and all of you who have spent time in the military know what that means  ) donations through the Combined Federal Campaign. After looking through the options, I found IMBA is a recognized organization.

If I donate to IMBA through the CFC, will IMBA recognize this contribution and count it as my yearly membership, or does the money have to go directly into the IMBA hands to qualify?

Thanks for any answers,
STinGa

I suggest asking that question of Rod or Mike at IMBA.

Rod Judd, Membership Manager, rod.judd@imba.com, x119

Mike Dahl, Membership Services Coordinator, mike.dahl@imba.com, X118

Donations are separate from membership dues.

Donations are indeed separate from Membership because IMBA relies on both.

Membership dues keep the lights on, fuel the 100,000 or so miles the Trail Care Crews' Subarus clock each year and buy shovels and educational materials for communities here and there.

Donations deliver new trails, new programs and new parks -- more places to ride + more riders.

Your CFC membership is asbolutely legitimate. Thank you. It takes The Man a while to get your contributionm to IMBA (a year) but it's in the books.

Thanks, keep riding and keep IMBA in mind for those spare change donations...
