Ok, Another Tire thread I know, but I'm curious with some of the new tread patterns out there what some of you guys have tried or are considering.

I've always used Maxxis Highrollers. They have seemed to be the best tracking/cornering/braking tire I've found. But, they do have a little more than desired rolling resistance. It's liveable for me with the tough sidewalls, performance beneifts, and and hardly no maintenance they require. I have tried the Schwalbe Big Betty's Gooey Gluey Compound, and liked them as well. I was considering the New Schwalbe Fat Albert design, or the Maxxis Ardents.

Riding Style - Aggressive All mountain, (previously rode DH) so I lean more toward that style even on trails.

Riding weight - 195

Bike - Intense Tracer VP

OK, thoughts/opinions??

I currently run a pair of 2.5 single ply nevegals for general tech riding and love them. However I think my next set are going to be specialized 2.5 clutch SX casing. I've been hearing good things about these.

I also run 27/25 DH highrollers and 2.4 racing ralphs and love both of those in the corresponding conditions.

I run the Spec clutch"s 2.5 frt and 2.3rear on my DH rig and love them! Used to run the maxxis minions but i feel i have more control with the clutch's. On my trail rig i run a combo of Specialized eskar 2.3 in the front and a Specialized captain 2.2 in the rear and love it. The eskar corners really well and rolls fast for a 2.3 and the captain is just a great all around tire. My buddy is running the spec purgatorys and has had nothing but great things to say about them. As you can tell im a big fan of specialized tires!
