A message from your Southeast Regional Director - Tom Sauret

Dear Mountain Biker,

I'm very excited to serve you as IMBA-SORBA regional director, working with IMBA-affiliate clubs and SORBA Chapters. There's so much good stuff happening here — we’ve opportunities like:

  • Our chapters are expanding the Raccoon Mountain Trails in Chattanooga, the Uwharrie Trails in Albemarle, NC
  • We're partnering with land managers to make additions to the Tom Brown and Munson Hills trails
  • We've created a regional leadership advisory council with members from seven southeastern states to assess and develop exciting mountain biking projects in our part of the country

These projects are fueled by IMBA’s Annual Fund, and there are so many others happening at IMBA’s local club level.

We want to build and protect more, but we need your help.

Please donate now. $35-plus donations earn a full-color calendar — a $13.95 value — while supplies last.

Plus all donors receive 20% off at imba.com/store for the Holiday Season.

We need to protect crucial mountain biking areas in the south. I'm working closely with Atlanta-SORBA on Chattahoochee National Recreation Area project and with North Carolina Mountain Bike Alliance to find solutions that will preserve trails.

Help us help riders like you— it’s tax deductible.

SORBA ANNUAL FUND DRIVE 2008

THANK YOU for donating to the 2008 Fund Drive!!!

The main purpose of the Annual Fund is to build a financial foundation for the association so that in an emergency SORBA may continue to represent your needs as an off-road cyclist. This year the fund is strong enough to allow SORBA to offer trail maintenance grants directly to the Chapters for tools, materials or educational training.

Annual fund money can also be used for:

    ->Legal assistance in preventing trail closure
    ->Local and national advocacy
    ->Trail system support
    ->National Bike Patrol training

Donations are tax deductible because SORBA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
