TUMBLING CREEK MOUNTAIN BIKE RUMBLE
6-HOUR CROSS COUNTRY ENDURANCE RACE
GAINESVILLE STATE COLLEGE
OAKWOOD, GEORGIA


RULES AND INFORMATION

• All riders are required to wear a helmet.

• A lap is completed when the rider crosses the finish line. The finish line is the scorer tent.

• The next lap can begin once the previous rider completed a lap. The scorer will signal the next rider to go.

• NO LAP FINISHED AFTER 3:30 PM WILL BE COUNTED no matter where you were on the course at 3:30 PM.

• Riders will not be allowed to start a new lap after 3:15 pm.

• Event Director will determine the start time (9:30 am) and finish time (3:30 pm).

• The team with the most laps wins; ties are decided by who crossed the finish line first.

• If somebody has crashed and needs help, help them or tell a course marshal.

• Slower riders need to yield to faster riders.

• When passing, give directions; "rider on your left".

• Course marshals will be at various locations on the course.

• Stay on the trail.

• We are here to have fun. If somebody has problems, help them so they can continue to ride. You may need their help later.

• Each lap must be finished on the same bike frame that was started with for that particularly lap.

• A 1-hour "Race Will End" notice will be given in case of rain on event day. Winners will be determined based on Race End Time.

• ALL Riders must inform the Event Director when dropping out of event.

• NORBA rules do not apply.

• Event Director has final word on all decisions.
